Sebastian Copeland

I have spent the last ten years traveling and photographing the polar regions. The images I brought back celebrate this magical and frigid landscape, infinite in variety, and moving in its fragility. The time I have spent on or near the ice has been inspiring; sometimes challenging; but always transformative. So much so that I left behind the world of advertising and celebrity portraiture to heed the urgent call of the poles. The world is shrinking and the poles are literally melting in our backyard. I made it a mission to sensitize the public about this fleeting environment and help people fall in love with their world.
